Spanish Barbershop Champions Showcase Innovative Techniques in Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will be the stage for an exclusive demonstration highlighting Spanish talent in the beauty industry. The event, titled "Spanish World Champions of Hair," will take place on October 8th and brings together three renowned professionals to present their unique approaches to a global audience. This initiative is relevant for professional barbers as it offers a glimpse into the most advanced trends in technique and creativity that are shaping the contemporary sector.

The selected artists are Jorge X, Rafael Bueno, and Carlos Valiente. All share the distinction of having previously been crowned Spain's Barber of the Year and remain contenders for the national title in 2026. On the beautyLIVE stage, they will showcase their signature concepts, allowing viewers to observe up close the inspiring expressions of current Spanish barbering.

Jorge X, the current winner of the international Barber of the Year award and Creative Director at Quantum Hair, returns to the city after a successful presentation last year. His career is marked by the fusion of technology and artistic experimentation. He is known for patented techniques such as Pixel Hair and Trompe L’Oeil coloring, which have gained significant international recognition.

Rafael Bueno brings over two decades of experience and a portfolio with more than 40 collections. Recognized as an international educator, his philosophy connects artistic barbering to commercial application in salons. He transforms creativity into a strategic tool capable of generating new business opportunities for establishments.

Completing the trio is Carlos Valiente, whose vision is grounded in educational and creative excellence. Under his leadership, the brand Salones CV became the only Spanish company in the sector to win 16 Fígaro Awards. Additionally, his team was named Best International Artistic Team at the 2025 International Barbering Awards.

The presentation will be hosted by Sergi Bancells, Global Editorial Ambassador for Estetica magazine and Secretary-General of AIPP. With three decades of career linked to communication and international promotion of the sector, he guides the audience through the demonstrations. The spectacle will take place in the Al Multaqua Ballroom, offering a global showcase for the diversity and innovative spirit that define Spanish barbering today.
