Kelly Huether revives Life of Riley and expands independent distribution in the US Southeast

Executive relaunches sub-distribution model for barbershops and salons, seeking partnerships with commission-based sales reps across seven American states.

Kelly Huether announced the reacquisition of Life of Riley and Riley Salon Resources, an initiative taking place in the United States. This move is relevant to barbering professionals as it seeks to strengthen the independent distribution channel, offering alternatives to large national chains.

The company is actively recruiting commission-based sales representatives. The initial focus covers salons, barbershops, and day spas located in Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Mississippi, and Alabama. This geographic expansion aims to ensure direct commercial presence in regions where demand for professional products is growing.

In addition to the sales team, Huether intends to relaunch the Sub-Distribution model he previously created. The strategy invites potential business partners in the US Southeast to integrate into the new structure. The goal is to create a more agile network connected with the local needs of the industry.

The executive describes the industry dynamics as a balance, where sales volume attracts brands and vice versa. According to him, "it's time for independent distributors to come together to try something similar" to what major national players do when seeking partnerships with all available brands.

The central proposal is to reinvent independent beauty distribution under a family culture. Brands, distributors, and commission-based sales professionals interested in joining this new phase can contact directly via email at [email protected].
