Three major barbering competitions shake up the United States in November
From Louisiana to California, events like the Elite Barber Battle and the Harley Davidson Barber Battle bring professionals together for technical showdowns and cultural festivals.
Barbershop professionals across the United States are gearing up for a decisive month in November, with three large-scale competitions spanning the country. This intensive schedule offers barbers the opportunity to test their technical skills before experienced judges and diverse audiences, cementing names in the national landscape of the profession.
The sequence begins on Sunday, November 8th, in Slidell, Louisiana, with the Elite Barber Battle. The event, organized by Elite Barber Supply at Saint August Maison, is described as a special South Florida edition. Competitors will vie for creating the best fades and freeform cuts, under the evaluation of renowned judges, including Jeremy Lopez, Broc Buckner, Terron Harang, and Perry Willams.
In addition to the competitions, the public will have access to two hours of live education, giveaways, and a market featuring prominent suppliers. Each ticket includes the chance to win an electric scissors and clipper set from the brand StyleCraft, integrating the competitive experience with practical benefits for participants.
On the East Coast, the Underground Barber Battle takes place on Sunday, November 15th, in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York. Co-organized by Jessie Jamez and the team behind the 3 Men 2 Barber Show program, the event highlights a doubles category, where two barbers compete as a pair. The prize includes a $1,000 cash award and the prestige of winning the showdown.
The final stop on the national tour occurs on Saturday, November 21st, in Adelanto, California. The Harley Davidson Barber Battle is hosted at the Adelanto Plaza & Event Center and organized by BlammerTheRula and Death Valley Harley-Davidson. This event stands out by fusing the art of barbering with custom motorcycle and car culture.
Competitors will face high-pressure categories, such as the fastest fade and best side part finish. The outdoor festival offers free admission, including live shows, displays of customized vehicles, food, and music, creating a vibrant atmosphere that goes beyond simple technical competition.
