The presentation of the new cutting technique took place at the Salon Space event in London, UK. The proposal is to offer professionals a structured approach to executing the Choco Lob style, an timeless bob that has been gaining prominence due to its versatility. The interest for those working in barbershops lies in the possibility of adapting this classic feminine look to clients who seek modernity without giving up practicality in their daily lives.

The process begins with a horizontal division of the hair, clearly separating the nape and occipital areas. This initial step is fundamental to ensure the symmetry and geometric balance of the final piece. Then, with the head in a vertical position and the strands falling naturally close to the scalp, the professional must draw a horizontal cutting line, using the comb as the main guide.

The execution follows a principle of successive layers. The stylist releases the hair layer by layer, always cutting following the same horizontal line established previously. The already cut layer serves as a visual reference for the subsequent ones, ensuring that volume and length remain consistent throughout the process.

This procedure is repeated on both sides of the head. As each new section is released, it must be moved in the direction of the nape to maintain the continuity of the design. This technique allows precise control over the density and final shape of the cut, avoiding irregularities common in medium-length cuts.

After complete drying of the strands, the final step focuses on creating movement. The layers are lifted and the ends receive texturization to add lightness and dynamism to the look. The result is a cut that adapts perfectly to both a sleek and polished finish and a more natural wavy texture.

The technique was developed by Josep Toledano, who was responsible for the cutting and styling of the demonstration. Makeup was also handled by the Salon Space team, while model Army's wardrobe was provided by the brand Zara. This collaboration highlights the integration between different areas of beauty to present a complete look to the professional audience.
