milk_shake launches 'Feelings' guide featuring bixie bob cut and golden brown color
The brand's new chapter introduces the Fleur look, a cut between a bixie and a bob with highlights that shine in the light. The focus is on translating emotions into style for barbers.
The milk_shake brand presented its latest chapter of aesthetic inspiration, titled "Feelings," specifically aimed at beauty industry professionals. The collection stems from the premise that hair goes beyond physical appearance, functioning as a deep form of communication and emotional expression. For those working in barbering, the material offers practical tools to translate clients' most intimate feelings into true wearable works of art.
Each look within this new line was conceived with intentional color recipes, designed to provoke specific emotional responses, ranging from serene to vibrant. The goal is to allow the stylist to act as a bridge between the client's internal feeling and their external expression, ensuring a result that resonates with each person's personality.
The highlight of the collection is the Fleur look, which features a hybrid cut positioned between a bixie and a classic bob. The structure falls just below the jawline and to mid-neck, maintaining a textured and irregular finish, but never sloppy. The styling includes a centered, loose fringe, swept to the sides in a soft V-shape over the forehead.
The color complements the cut with a deep brown blonde, enriched by golden highlights that are only revealed when light hits the strands. This technique creates a rich and dimensional finish, balancing depth with subtle shines. The final result is a modern look, full of movement and life, which maintains control even in texture.
The guide details the technical process step by step, starting with separating the fringe and the horizontal section at the nape. Cuts are performed predominantly with a razor, using specific techniques such as Channeling and Surfing to ensure precision and fluidity in length transitions. Elevating the strands at 45° and 90° angles is fundamental for defining the final shape.
In the coloring stage, the protocol includes the use of Powder Pop product for better control during backcombing. Subsequently, milk_shake's Formulas 1 and 2 are applied, massaging the products through the combed strands. The process concludes with the application of Formula 3 after the appropriate processing time, followed by final cleansing and conditioning.
