In the city of Bari, Italy, local barbershop tradition received an official recognition that directly interests professionals in the sector by demonstrating the longevity possible in the market. The city hall presented a commemorative plaque to the Manobianco family, owners of one of the oldest and most respected establishments in the region.

The achievement celebrates over sixty years of uninterrupted activity for the salon, which has become a reference point for several generations of clients. The business history began in 1964, when Giovanni Manobianco, then only twenty-five years old, started operations. Since that time, the place has maintained its authentic essence, adapting to changes over time without losing the identity that characterizes it.

The tribute was signed by Mayor Vito Leccese, who highlighted on the plaque the pillars of the house's success: passion, dedication, craftsmanship, and human warmth. These elements are considered fundamental for those working in barbering, as they show that technique must be allied with customer welcome to ensure loyalty over decades.

Today, the command of the establishment is in the hands of Sandro Manobianco, son of the founder, who works side by side with his wife Rosa. The generational transition preserved the company's initial values, keeping alive the memory of over sixty years of stories and anecdotes accumulated in the salon.

Among the striking memories recorded by the family, stands out the moment when Giovanni discovered, while browsing a newspaper, that the renowned composer Nino Rota had been a client of his space. This episode reinforces the prestige of the barbershop and its ability to attract illustrious figures, further consolidating its reputation in the local community.
