International gathering 'El Proceso' brings together 300 barbers in Tres Arroyos
Tres Arroyos, Argentina, hosts the fourth edition of the event featuring training sessions, masterclasses, and the presence of international professionals.
The city of Tres Arroyos, in Argentina, will be the stage this weekend for the international gathering "El Proceso," which will bring together approximately 300 barbers from various regions of the country and abroad. The event is significant for the profession as it concentrates technical training opportunities, exhibitions, and direct contact with global references in the barbering industry all in one place.
The official opening will take place on Saturday at 7:00 PM at the Municipal Polysport Center, featuring an activity open and free to the public. This initial session will serve to welcome participants and allow the local community to get a close look at the professional world of barbers.
Tomás Pereyra, one of the organizers, explained in an interview with Radio 3 Continental that this is the fourth edition of the gathering. The first two editions took place in Tres Arroyos, while the third was held in Tucumán. Now, the event returns to its original city with a proposal defined by him as "deluxe."
Among the highlights of the program is the presence of international professionals, including the person elected best barber in the world, who is returning to the city. Specialists from Mexico and Guatemala will also participate. On Sunday, the Masterclass will be held at the Municipal Theater, featuring haircut demonstrations, videos, on-stage models, and exhibitions by the guests. The journey will include talks about the personal and professional processes necessary for career growth.
On Monday, there will be a private day with small groups for more personalized training. In parallel, at the Polysport Center, an educational experience will take place with the participation of partner brands, aimed at those who cannot access the private sessions. The closing will be marked by the final of the "Ema Medina 2026" challenge, where two competitors will vie for first place.
Beyond technique, the event seeks to strengthen the sense of community among local barbers. Pereyra, who became a barber after a personal transformation linked to the birth of his son, will share his story at the Municipal Theater. As he stated: "I think every person has a story to inspire another." The organization remains open to models and men's clothing brands that wish to set up booths.
