The global landscape of barbershops and creative cutting gained prominence this week with the official announcement of the AIPP 2025-2026 award winners. The announcement was made last Friday via social media, turning the institutional profile into an international showcase for professionals who have stood out in the sector.

The initiative is organized by the International Association of Professional Hairdressers' Press (Association Internationale Presse Professionnelle Coiffure) and seeks to recognize the artistic and technical excellence of stylists. For this edition, the level of participation was considered exceptional, reflecting growing interest in competitions that value innovation in service.

Nearly 500 work collections were submitted, representing professionals from 30 different countries around the world. This broad geographical diversity demonstrates how the art of cutting and hair styling transcends cultural boundaries, uniting barbers and hairdressers in a common pursuit of high quality standards.

The organization highlighted the fundamental role of participants in elevating the sector, thanking them for their dedication and commitment to artistic excellence that drives the industry. The recognition is not limited only to the award winners but celebrates the entire collective effort that keeps the profession's dynamism at its peak.

The winning professionals will have the opportunity to receive their trophies at a highly relevant in-person event for the market. The ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 15, Sunday, during the Effervescence show.

The venue chosen for the award presentation is the LOOK IFEMA fair, located in Madrid, Spain. This established event in the European beauty calendar will serve as the final stage to celebrate the talents that defined the creative trends of the 2025-2026 cycle.
